
The workshop by Josif Shamli will take place on November 8th 2014 (Saturday), 2014.
Josif Shamli graduates from the National Academy for Theater and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov”, in the class of prof. Zdravko Mitkov.
He is awarded with Asceer ’95 for supporting male role for Billy Bibbit in “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest”.
Among his theatrical roles are: Woyzeck in “Woyzeck” by Georg Büchner in DT – Sliven, Lucifer in “Cain” by Lord Byron in Rodopa Drama Theatre, The Big Karatanas in “The Black Fleece” by I. Dobchev and M. Mladenova, The Coryphaeus in “Odyssey’s dream” by H. Müller at Sfumato theatre, Billy Bibbit in “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest” by D. Wasserman in DT – Plovdiv. Since 2003 he is part of the ensemble of the National Theatre Ivan Vazov, where his roles include: File in “The Rainmaker” by R. Nash, Sebastian in “The Tempest” by W. Shakespeare, Eddie in “Fool for Love” by S. Shepard, Svetoslav Kamburov in “Road of Roses and Thorns” by I. Bojidarova, Inspector in “Good night, Patrizia” by A. de Benedetti, Hofbazer in “The Visit” by Fr. Dürrenmatt, Blazius in “On ne badine pas avec lamour”, Roman in “Running Strangers”, King Arthur and other personalities in “Timequake” by A.Filipov, Cornwall in “King Lear” by W. Shakespeare, Porfiry Petrovich in “Crime and Punishment” by F. Dostoevsky, The Avocatori in “Volpone” by B. Jonson, Judge Lyapkin-Tyapkin in “The Government Inspector” by N.V. Gogol, Juvachov in “The Moth” by Peter Gladilin.
