We introduce you the first workshop tutor from the program of “Theatre in Advance”.
Iva Sveshtarova works in the sphere of theatre, dance and performance. She gains a master degree in Choreography and Performance from the Institute of Applied Theatre Knowledge in Germany. In 2006 she is a scholarship student at DanceWeb, Impulstanz, Vienna. Between 2002 and 2006 she takes part in the ensamble of Acto – Instituto de Arte Dramatica, Portugal. She had worked with producers and choreographers such as Nikolay Georgiev, Galina Borisova, Филип Перейра, Дойферт & Плишке, Марен Щрак, Томас Лемен, Андре Рио-Сарсей, etc. Author and co-author of: A(e)ffect, “Doing that thing again”(2012),“Velocity Pumps”(2011), “Museum of hygiene” (2011), “Donna Clara”(2010), “Cliché”(2009), “Mirrored Phase” (2007), “The Metamorphosis” (2004) based on Kafka(Acto – Instituto de Arte Dramatica), Portugal; “Transfer” (2004) – a site specific performance for “Paralelo 40”, Portugal.
Since 2007, she is a member of Brain Store Project – co-organizer of the contemporary dance and performance festival “Antistatic”. Iva Sveshtarova is co-founder of the Balkan educational programme Nomad Dance Academy.
The workshops will take place on November 9th, 2013 at “Vlaykova” cinema. The entry is free for all participants of “Theatre in Advance” festival.
